” This year we have worked hard to increase awareness of this Rally nationwide with a new marketing campaign, new motorcycle shows throughout the year and a brand new website to encourage more new people and new events to Laconia Motorcycle Week. This year marks the 87th Anniversary (working our way to the 90th!) and there is still plenty to do: Here’s some of what you can expect at this year’s Rally – so make sure you mark your calendar: Kickoff your week by participating in the 4th Annual Peter Makris Memorial Ride and any other great charity ride that occurs on Saturday. Make sure you set time aside on Sunday for attending the 2nd Annual Toy Run Parade to the New Hampshire Motor Speedway where you can check out the 87th Loudon Classic! The Ride to the Sky up Mount Washington will once again be open for “Bikes Only” on Monday and Thursday of Motorcycle Week. Plan a day at the Hillclimb/Drag Races at Gunstock Mountain Resort on Wednesday. You also want to make sure to set aside time for all of the bike shows, swap meets, blessings and all the street action on Lakeside Avenue.
